Hawke XB-30 Pro from Wyvern Creations. You will have a hard time finding somebody else to beat his price.

I have both and the Pro is definitely the way to go. The original XB1 is good but the Pro has many many improvements. Look for a review on here by Wildcatter.whoay wrote:what about the XB1 1.5-5×32 SR

If you want the best & made in the USA choose the Leupold VXR...

Another vote for the Leupold VX-R, to me it is the perfect scope on my Excalibur and for my type of shooting and hunting.

I have the Excalibur twilight scope on my micro 355, and love it, I had a Equinox with a Excalibur shadow zone on it, and was very impressed with the Excalibur lines of scopes.

Re: what illuminated scope to upgrade to?
I have the Hawke XB30 that I got from Wyvern 3 years ago at a great price. I love this scope. Even if I don't illuminate the crosshairs red or green when I shoot at a deer, the crosshairs are easy to see and center on the target.
So far I have shot 4 deer in 3 years. Only once have I remembered to turn the illumination on, the other times, things happened so fast or I just forgot in the excitement of the moment I did not turn it on. In those cases, I only thought to myself later - hey I didn't turn my scope on and wow - it was still so easy.
I'm not sure if they even sell this model any more but if the newer Hawke scopes are as good as this one you will have a quality scope.
David at Wyvern Creations will provide you with good advice as well as great pricing.
