Re: RamCat Broadheads
Does anyone know for sure they will clear the stirrup without the wrap. Its seems like everywhere I turn with broadheads I run in to something I don't like.

Both my 1.5" Striker Magnum and 125 gr 1.5" Ramcats clear. If you have an issue try turning your stirrup 180 degrees. If that doesn't work you can fIle the base of your stirrup to accommodate any broadhead. Just file it flat.
In the old days, the stirrups had a downwards attitude.
However, you should not have a problem with a bare stirrup.

I did a measurement on my 330 Matix & 355 Matrix with an arrow in the channel. I used a Black Eagle Zombie Slayer at .343" Outside Diameter. It would allow 1.625" diameter to hit the stirrup on both bows meaning 1.5" will clear by 1/16" on an unwrapped stirrup. I recommend positioning the heads with a blade pointing up if you have a concern. What you can do to check your bow is remove the broadhead, place the arrow into the rail with the front insert pointing towards your trigger, slide it under the retainer to hold it in position and measure. Half the shaft is .171", just use 3/16" for simplicity, you should have 5/8" from stirrup to bottom of the arrow.
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!

Don is correct . The stirrups used to be angled . But then people would take the stirrup off and put it on upside down and couldn`t understand why the arrow was contacting .
