And This is Why We Test Broadheads

Post by paulaboutform »

I'll keep this short. Tomorrow I'm off on the annual boar hunt and being joined by Normous. Exciting stuff! :D I've had no time for anything but had to check my broadheads and poi. Well, slicks have always been great, and my toxics and the QAD'S and RamCats..... Thank goodness for checking, because the RamCat is the only one to hit with field points. Tricks are 5MOA right, QAD'S 5MOA left, 125gr Toxics 10MOA left. Glad for checking. See y'all on the flipside, hopefully with some stories and pics.

Good luck guys.

Are you using the Micro 355?

WOW! Here's a first. I've traveled all over Canada, literally, and across the U.S. with my archery equipment when I was competitive 3D shooting. The Vancouver airport is the only place I've ever had issues. The first time I was surrounded by security, they pulled all my gear apart and ran everything through their machines and physically checked everything, including ME! Today, I went through the usual routine and informed them at check in that I had archery equipment, secured in a hard case, and security had me put my bowcase on the special equipment belt. I'm then called over the P.A. system to report to the gate kiosk where I was told I had to fill out a firearms declaration form!????? 'But I'm not traveling with firearms.' I was told security needs me to fill out the form!!!??? So, I check N/A for every question and sign off. Right about then they call up telling the agents to check me in. For a second I thought Justin Trudeau has had crossbows reclassified as restricted weapons. LOL. I told them that security should actually know the transport Canada regulations. I hope my next check in will be with stories of big pigs with short blood trails. ....out.
