My understanding is that the difference between the Matrix 380 and 405 is the draw length -- the 405 having a slightly longer draw length 13.9 vs 13.1 for the 380 and the 405 has a longer stock 36.2 vs the length of the 380 at 35.6.
I am assuming (bad I know) that the riser and limbs are the same between the two bows and thus the question being if I have a limb problem on one, can the riser section with limbs attached, be moved from a 380 to a 405 or conversely ???
I own both and am just trying to verify what I think I know --- before I pull a Ruh Roh

They use the same stock the difference in length is from the rail.
