Congrats on your hunt, Dutch.

Our six man camp did well over 4 days to fill 5/6 tags in area 92. I was lucky enough to test out my new smokeless Savage 10 ML II, (thanks, Jeff 8) ), on two nice does with perfectly devastating results. Deer numbers are still plentiful but I'd say down from a peak that we saw a few years back. Overall we had a great week too.

Welcome to the Savage 10MLii smokeless powder club. I can't see me ever going back to a dirty gun again...

I pulled my breach plug before putting mine away. After around 30 shots the barrel was clean and shiny. I just put the plug back in and hit it with a bit of gun oil. Priceless!!!!!

Nope no longer in production. There are a handful of new ones in US dealers stock. Or if your lucky you can find good condition used ones. Mine will be with me until I'm too old to hunt..lol
