Thats awesome. I have been after two mature bucks the past few weeks but can't seem to get closer than 50 yards to them. Glad to see the late season worked out for you I still ahve a couple weeks to hope for your results !

Man, you guys are lucky. Only way to have so many tags in Ontario for one person is to use scissors.
Yes we are,, I'm very thankful for the length and #'s, I no longer "HAVE" to hunt multiple states to fill the freezer every year. I need all 6 we are allowed, with making 50# Summer Sausage, and 30" breakfast sausage year and needing a ;ot of burger that takes up all the meat I kill except the Back Straps of course, those are the only steaks I cut.

We have to hunt multiple counties to fill all six because some counties you are only allowed one deer, some 2, and some 3, but 6 state wide with only one Buck per season! I am not sure what urban tags or detriment tags offer over that but don't hunt them anyways, I think I would hunt Kentucky Indiana or Michigan before I hunted Urban areas.

3 seasons ago after passing bucks early that I was beginning to wish I wouldn't have, on Thursday of the last week of season, I took this fine buck at 42 yards with the Mad Max 380,,,, years like this make it easier to pass them good buck's in hopes of a little better,,,
Image

It's still hard to pass em at times, and this year I had a couple that won't get a pass this late in the season, but still hope'n fer a dandy,,, we'll see, it worked fer you,,,, maybe I'll get lucky?

wildcatter, I don't mean to hijack this thread, would you care to post your summer sausage recipe? I couldn't find a good one yet. May be in a separate thread...
