I hope so. I just got mine back. My limb splintered just a tad. Took it back to where I brought it. Excalibur replaced the riser also. Haven't shot it yet. The riser is a diffent color camo then my bow. But can live with that. BUT my concern is how much speed did I lose going to the new riser.

I shoot a Matrix 405 and I shoot a lot more than your average hunter and I have had no issues with the new limbs. I now have the newer riser, but I don't think that was the problem to begin with, it was always about the limbs IMO.

Do you think you lost speed with the NEW riser?

I still have my 405 and haven't had any problems with it.

My 405 has never had a limb problem. The riser was not the problem according to Excal it was the over heated limbs...but the fact they have changed it some tells me that there was some issue there. But it hasn't showed up in mine yet.

I have not verified with a chronograph but it doesn't have a different limb angle it's just that all places of contact between the riser and the limb are radiused and the limb strap hardware is updated. I don't see how it could be any slower than my old riser.

I used a newly modified 405 riser in my Matrix 380 build, along with the new style limb strap hardware, and new "In House" 2016 non-cooked limbs....

I'm not sure how the speed compares with past and current production Matrix 380's ? However, I can tell you I'm happy to give up a couple fps if need be, as long as it continues to give me the complete feeling of reliability and satisfaction that I have in it at present. :D :D

Good question.(topicstarter) I also want to ask:

Do they send also a new riser in case of braking limbs - M380?

And do the new riser reduce in speed?

When I read "new" riser, what is it that makes it new? Style/Characteristics? Modified/altered? New riser to the owner? Thanks...
