I've been doing quite a bit of crossbow research the past few months and found myself back at this forum often. It seems to me there are a great bunch of people here and knowledgeable as well.

I chose the Grizzly based on several factors. Did I want a crank ? No. Was I going to be able to cock it with the rope cocker ? Yes. The list goes on. Also reading the reviews on here, and elsewhere, the Grizzly seemed like my best choice. After doing all the math I figure I should have about 67 lbs ke out to 50 yards. I'm basing that # on a 410 gr Diablo arrow traveling approximately 285 fps.
Does this sound about right to you guys ?
I purchased a Grizzly and it should be here this Wednesday. I also ordered the "needed" accessories like a case, wax, oil, etc.. I should have it set up and sighted in by early next week. I hope to be ice fishing this weekend.L. E. Carroll wrote:Welcome aboard !

I purchased a Grizzly and it should be here this Wednesday. I also ordered the "needed" accessories like a case, wax, oil, etc.. Make sure you get a stringing aid; probably your most needed accessory.
