350SE Limbs Question

Post by MagTipHunter »

Hello,

I am thinking about ordering a new 350SE. I am wondering if it's possible that any of the limbs in the 350's could be from the "batch of overcooked camo process" limbs. Any thoughts on the probability on this? I did a forum search going back about four months and only saw one issue with any of the 350's as it appears many people are not having any issues.

I realize any issues will be covered by the excellent warranty process, but I am looking for any insight. Many thanks for any thoughts.

Hope not too, got me one too earlier this year and have over 1000 shots on bow without one issue. Been outstanding so far. Good luck with yours.

I've never heard of anyone that wasn't less than thrilled with the 350. I would buy it, and not worry. Excalibur stands behind their products anyway, so you shouldn't have any concerns.

I would say Yes they came from the overcooked batch and that is why the 350 LE was made. I own one of the first out and have hundreds of shots through it with with no problems. The problems with the "overcooked limbs" was on the 380s and 405s. Very few problems were found on the lower poundage bows thus the reason for the cut down. I have the original limbs on my 330 and 350 with no problems at all and if I ever do have a problem Excal will replace them.

I would not hesitate to buy another 350 LE. It is the deal of the year on a great crossbow.
