Just finished my first bear skull. Shot this bear this year with my Micro315.. :)

Great job Jeff, that looks awesome! It can be a real challenge getting all the oils out of the bones, especially around the teeth. Nicely done. :D

Looks real good. Are you going to put it on a plaque mount stand or on a plaque. One of my buddies shot one this year and another friend made him a plaque with wood branches and centered on it looks pretty good. I will try and post after he hangs it on is wall.

Debone. Boil and pick away all meat and brain matter.

When clean soak it in 40 hair bleach for a few days...

Same process as deer..

I heard some guys like using a bit of peroxide in there mixture to help whiting it. I had mine done by the taxidermist I use. I guess I'm on the lazy side. My nephews down south tell me that all the time. But they enjoy doing there own work. I use to do it.
