When I bought my nightmare last year,it ate the string serving up pretty quickly an I was concerned, but I put a triggertech trigger in an solved all the problems, must be the string prongs on some of these..

Ok polished latches according to Boos instructions ,it was not difficult to do.
Checked all my arrows for nock defects, and checked and lubed rail.
Going to watch carefully over next few days to see how string stands up to some shooting. Have a stock string until new one comes in mail
Oh by the way my dealer insisted I was the only complaint they ever had and my serving issue was from overshooting.
I didn't buy this bow to take a few shots a year and lock up bow in cupboard til the next hunting season.
Anyway I am optimistic that all the help from this forum and aftermarket strings are going to be a success. Cheers
