How many people are shooting 350 grains with the micros and doing well or are you breaking limbs?? It is what they use to test the bows and should work. It shoots better from my 315. And I like the mechanical bolt cutter,
Re: all Excalibur
I know on my old horton legend bow they came out with lightining arrow which was light arrow.Limbs started to crack at the limb hole..To me I would not use light arrow in my micro ..Right now excal covers your limbs but so did Thompson flintlocks now they do not and horton does not cover older bows ..
So you want you limbs to last I would not do it..

Re: all Excalibur
The 315 is the least stressed of the Micro series. All else equal, the 315's limbs will hold up better than the 335, which will hold up better than the 355.
However, my 380 & 405 have had no fractured limbs after years of use, 100s of hours being cocked, 1,000s of shots. Get a set of blemished limbs for backup, shoot whatever weight arrow you want that is minimum weight or more , and just enjoy the Xbow.
Increased arrow weight actually affects trajectory less than many might expect. I'm about the longest range shooter and hunter around, yet I shoot a 447.6g arrow thru my 400 & 405. Lighted nocks and a 20" arrow and getting the minimum FOC needed for good flight to 100 yards with a Grizz Trick is currently what I'm using.

Re: all Excalibur
I don't use the 350gr arrows, i prefer my arrows at 400gr plus out of my crossbows
Re: all Excalibur
I've been shooting a 405 gr. arrow/broadhead combination from my Micro 355. I'm not sure if that little bit of extra weight makes it easier on the limbs, but it makes me feel better!
Still lovin' my EXCALIBUR MICRO 355!
Re: all Excalibur
I shoot a total 375 gr.on my gen 2 335 micro if I have have a limb problem they are covered by the best warranty avaliable.

Good replys all. I think I'm going to try it see what happens.I will feed the 315 a steady diet of 350.
