It's alot quieter, one of my ex-shox blew off the left limb on first shot. I stuck it back on and it lasted maybe 15 shots and flew off again. I Didn't bother keeping them.
Bow still very quiet with other silencing stuff.

I bought the supressor bow with it, maybe it wasn't put on just right?
Seems a little faster without the ex shot
Never shot the bow without the sound dampening kit, just comparing it to my matrix 380

The only sound deadening stuff I'd recommend for a Grizzly is a heavier arrow. Anything else is just wasting energy and giving you nothing in return. At least a heavier arrow will have more momentum which means better penetration. A crossbow will never be as quiet as a vert bow. I use nothing on my bows and have killed deer at 30 yds each of the last 3 years...probably more I just can't remember. And I usually stop them with a grunt so they are looking in my direction when I shoot. But they all have one thing in common.......dead.

Heavier arrow or:

If the deer is in reasonable range the sound is the last thing it will hear.

I tried several methods and concluded the sound deadening was only for my benefit. I shoot an older model (Phoenix) and a dacron string teamed with heavier arrows reduces the sound & vibration enough that I seldom notice it. I doubt a dacron string would be advisable on the shorter limb bows (too much stretching), but heavier arrows help a lot!
