is it true that the Grizz_2 is limited 5 year warranty?

Excalibur crossbows have a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. Warranty will be given at Excalibur's discretion for the lifetime of the original owner.

All returns for warranty consideration must have an RMA number indicated on the packaging.  Once you have created an RMA on our on-line system you will automaticlly receive an RMA number and the address to send your item by email.

its in a local flyer, look at '5' at bottom corner of the ad. It means 5 years warranty....!?

Well... you could go with the store warranty or register your bow on site and have Excaliburs warranty. Mine is lifetime.

RE: WARRANTY EXCLUSION – Aftermarket Components

Several companies are producing aftermarket components specifically designed to fit Excalibur crossbow models.


All modifications to any part of your Excalibur Crossbow product will be at your own risk. Any alteration or substitution of components on an Excalibur Crossbow product will VOID warranty and liability.

All warranty consideration will be at the discretion of Excalibur Crossbow.

Any questions regarding Excalibur Crossbow warranty policies should be directed to our Customer Service Department.

The GRZ2 does have the same limited lifetime warranty as all of our crossbow models, it's not 5 years as noted in that ad. Its obviously a misprint.

I have found Ecals warranty very good, never a problem. My complaint is the slow turn around time to get a warranty service. They need warranty service in all Provences, it takes 3 weeks out west to get your bow back.
