getting more speed from the Exocet

Good evening to all:D
If I were to bend the arrow arm spring up a little would it help increase my
bows FPS:?: . I realize that this spring has to hold the bolt in place but it seems that the pressure could be reduced some and the bolt would still
remain safely in place. I sighted my bow in to be on zero @ 30 yds.
I am using a bushnell red dot sight.
At 40 yards the GT Laser2 with a 100Gr. Field Pt. drops about 10".
Is this amount of drop normal for an Exocet with the above mentioned
bolts and tips:?:

here's an arrow trajectory chart for 300fps. You can see how much drop there is! From 30 to 40 yards 10" drop sounds about bang-on!

that little spring provides such a tiny amount of friction it will have little if any effect on your arrow speed.
