I do not remember how many trukeys I have harvested with my crossbow.

It does not matter the weight of the arrow because a 150lb bow will get a pass through unless you use some sort of arrow arrestor.

If your comfortable with your deer setup, and accurate, then I would use it. I am also a firm believer in not getting a pass through. If the arrow stays in the bird, it is more difficult for the bird to run or fly away. I use a Zwicky Scropios, the sit on the shaft just behind the head.

One word of warning if you're using an arrestor. Wait until the bird has stopped flopping before trying to grab the bird.

I like to set up my blind on the open edge of a field and place my decoys out about 10yrds.
I shoot stock Victory V Force arrows with a 100g. Magnus Bullhead Broadhead.
Practice with cheap pillows from Walmart and stuff and suspend them in a high quality garbage bag.I try to keep shots under 20yrds.If you succeed in hitting one in said head there is no tacking no waste of meat and your arrow will remain on scene and not in the farmers tire at a later date!
For my ExoMax I bought some stock PSE TAC 15 26.25" bolts and put 4" feathers on them with the 100g. Magnus Bullheads. They shot very well in practice but haven"t had enough time to put them through the paces on a turkey yet.
Hope this helps:
