Accuracy after string change in field
So 1st off just added my 2nd Excalibur to the stable. This time 380 mad max. Love these Excaliburs. My question is, what is the accuracy after you have to change strings in the field? We know the convenience of being able to do a string change in the field and go right back to hunting. But is it possible for scope to be off target with new string? I shoot mine at least once a week just out of habit during season to assure accuracy without an emergent string change. Stories and testimonials welcome. Thanks ahead of time.

Usually as long as yer brace ht remains the same it will be very close. It may have jus a touch diff at the longer ranges, unless the string was broke in. Still should be able to hit a baseball at 40 yds if'en you could usin the old string
Re: Accuracy after string change in field
Totally agree with Mike. What I recommend is this, get two strings, shoot the snot out of one, take it off, throw it in your pack. Install string two, hopefully Same / Same, and break it in before the season. Should you have to swap out, the strings should be same material, and strand count, even Steven! I have done this with 5 Excalibur Bows to prove the theory, it's the engineer in me! Always same results. If i could only recommend one habit to hunters, this would be it, get two strings from a member here that makes strings, and you would be guaranteed the same result in a pucker snatch!

You being from Texas have most likely heard that term used a few times. Basically my understanding is that it describes any situation you find yourself in outside of the normal situations you get into!

Had to google it to make sure he wasn't talking about a wooly woofter.
PS - wooly woofter was the first expression I had to google today.
