30 Yards with the Vixen, Gold tip lazer II, 100gr SlickTrick, Complete pass thru. I decided to take a walk and look for deer scrapes/rubs around 1:30pm this afternoon and took the Vixen with me. I found a couple after about 20 min. walking around, was tired as I have a breathing problem and sorta get fatigued out easy.
Set down on a old tree stump resting up was their about 15 min. when I heard this noise to my left. I slowly turned around in that direction to see what it was and shucks amighty it was a buck walking towards me My ole heart started pumping over time and all I could see was this super large rack The closer it came the larger it looked I slowly rasied my vixen saying to my self should have brung the MAG, the buck turned side ways to me and I let the bolt fly
Well I got'em bolt did a complete pass thru and I couldn't move.... The buck jumped and took off, I set there fer about 15 min. and went looking for my bolt. I found it about another 20 or so yards from where I shot at the deer and it was completely covered in RED. I sat down for another 15 min, and then went looking, found it about 30 yards from where I shot it But surprise, suprise, every tine on the rack was broken I have never seen anything like it
