SPAM

Never liked it as a kid and now it's all over the forum...lol
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

the sad thing is why are there any looks on them,, some here are willing to spend their time reading them.

I refuse to open any thread to even see what it is if it isn't posted with an obvious subject heading referring to archery! But I am not spending much time her because I am not searching thru the BS to find the real post,, sorry but other sights can control it, why not here?

We try to keep things clean best we can but today we had some sort of spam-storm hit us! We are currently testing a new version of the software to minimize spam, spam its really annoying. Kevin and I are doing testing on the new forum system and if all is good it will be up ASAP. Hopefully it will help to solve the problem.

I guess whom ever it is must be getting their jollies from it . you would think they would have better things to do . I wonder how many other forums they are visiting ?

Like I said, I shouldn't have to open BS or report it, they need to figure out how other forums keep it from showing up, this is far from the most hit forum on the net, but sees more spam than any other I have ever been on,,,,,,

Ya, I average about 8 or 9 spam slams a day. Many times it's been 8 or 9 in a row. I'm a night owl and 1:30am to 2:30am seems to be the golden hour for spammers. I agree with you wildcatter, I've never seen it this bad any where else.
What would be nice is to have a post header change to a different color after it's been reported. That way everyone will know its been reported without having to click on it.
