Matrix 380 Speed

With the package supplied does anyone know what is the true speed. I'm sure it's not 380 as advertised is it? Thanks

380 fps is achievable with a 350 grain arrow and the arrows and broadhead supplied with the Matrix 380 package are heavier.

You can subtract roughly 1 fps per 3 grain added arrow weight out of the Matrix series.

I can only tell you of mine, 400gr BEE's 18" 360 fps

I have a few buddies that own these, and they are just a tad under rated FPS with adjusted speed calculations / weight. Nobody shoots 350 grains, so I would not worry too much about a few FPS, these things are accurate, and plenty powerful. Good luck with your killing machine!

What Normous stated,, both of mine will beet it's rated speed by 2 to 4 fps. Sweet bows to I must add!

There is a variance between limbs, brace heights, string weight, accessories, etc. My spare limbs are 7-8 sec faster than the stock limbs.. My M380 is a little slower with than 380'/sec with 351g arrows.

I'm not shooting the arrows supplied with the package but I can tell you my 380 shoots a 425 grain arrow in the 353 to 355 fps range.

Boo string and 415gr mine gets 365-368 fps.

380 Blackout with 460 grain total arrow weight and I get 340/345 FPS. The 380 is as perfect a crossbow as they come in my opinion. . .just the right balance!
