I shot a good bird one year and took the spurs and made the wife a set of ear rings . you can pop the spurs from the legs and then they are hollow. I filled the hollow with two part epoxy puddy. and put a fish hook in upside down so the eye was sticking up and attached the part that goes into the ear to the eye and applied some clear nail polish to the spur and whalla all done.

Munch, I'd love to see this in person at Boofest. I have a freezer full of turkey legs that I can't decide what I'm going to do with.

Denis do me a favour and remind me when we are getting close to boofest and I'll bring them along . I saved tails in the past but they take up too much space so give them away . I di save wings and have had footed shaft here make some nice feathers in the past , he does a great job
