Maine turkey down!!! Photo Added
Gena and I went out Saturday, foggy and rainy again. She was off to my left across from me 130 yards. Around 3:00 she texted me four turkeys coming to my right!!! I did some calling and they came in!!! The hen followed the script, she went out to my decoys. The others went behind me. I have no windows open in the back to keep the light down in the blind. So I get out of my chair and peek out my little side window. The mesh was still on it. Had a big Tom walk by about 20' away. I did an akward freehand shot thru the mesh. I hit it and it took off like a rocket!! It went 150-200 yards in the woods. It was 23 lbs, 9" beard on it!!! Will have Gena post pictures later on this post.
