They are doing the best they can with that said. Seems like a ton of it shows up on the weekends maybe the weekends need to be beefed up some how . Or the person doing it needs to check more often, I also understand who ever is doing the moderating is probably not getting paid .

I know what reason was for the last 2 weeks and I am sorry. Maybe there could be a second person on board because things do come up that need our 100 percent . You are doing the job the best you can I think there needs to be some sort of a new program that can detect some of this spam and delete it before it gets out or soon after it seems to be the same people most times . I see it and when it becomes many I notify Peter . If I remember right this spam carp shut this down for a while I really don't want to see that Again . Are other forums getting the same ?

The problem is we need to update the version of this forum. We currently have every anti-spam program going for this style of software the problem is its old. Our I.T. guy Mark has a new version running as a test, once we know it's working properly we will install the new version. I will let everybody know as we will have to shut down the forum for a day or so while we make the change.

Sorry for the spam but Kevin and I are doing our best to control it.

wow....cannot wait!.....listen, if our respective governments cannot keep out the hackers what more can be expected on this forum....I think everyone is working as hard as they can....and most "seasoned" members have learned to ignore the spam!

The problem with some of the spam is it can lead to adult sites or allowing your computer to catch a virus . With some of us having little ones or not so little is they use the the computer to and may just stumble on to one of these sites and enter it NOT COOL !!!!
