Mike any way we can see pictures and specs ? I'm hoping this is a recurve?

Could you possibly give us a short tutorial on how you came up with and put it all together ? :D Sure would be interested in an "easy drawing" recurve X-bow which could be hand cocked if need be, and it possibly being an Excalibur to boot.

Thank's

I jus did some of my old parts changin, i ck'ed to see if'en the Matrix limbs would fit the Micro Riser. They did so i put a Matrix string on it. I went out wid a few arrows to see how it rope cocked n shot. Turns out to be about 135lb hybrid model. Can be hand cocked rope cocked n crank cocked, i even pulled rope cocker up n put the left handle in my right hand n cocked it rest of the way one armed. Its not as fast as the old 150lb vixens, but it easier easier to cock more compact n jus as accurate. Fer young ppl. women an us old worn out ppl. its a real nice practice shootin model fer my 2500-3000 shots i do every yr.

I tried out my 100gr Striker B-heads at 20 yds. Shot my 18-1 3 times, hit 3/4" left n 1" high, group center to center was 1/2". I used one arrow n pulled after each shot. Won't worry about sightin it in til jus before the season opens.

I like it! I remember when wildcatter did this a while back. I was thinking it would make a great target bow for my winter league. Not to mention a cool little hunting bow.

Mike ,
I think I'm seeing a gen I micro risrer being used.. Great choice for this build.

Not having a gen I micro riser any longer  I currently am using my gen II. I realize with it's 3 deg. increased limb angle, it needs a 1/2" longer rail to meet realistic 335 Micro performance levels. I would expect the use of a gen II riser to be somewhat less in draw weight and perhaps a few feet per second slower when mated with a set of Matrix limbs :?: .

I wonder if someone here has tried a similar build using Matrix limbs on a gen II Micro 335 ?

I would be really interested in finding out the draw weight and fps that combination would produce....... Anyone tried it ?
