Tact Zone spots

Post by Canuck Archer »

I have a tact zone scope. It came with my Excal Lynx...
I like the scope but there are what seems like little white marks that in no way show up when I'm sighting in but when I move my head around I can see them in the scope.
Been like that since I bought it but no big deal to me. However if I ever want to sell it ,it could be an issue with a new owner.
Anyone else have this issue and if so did you send it back to Excal or?????
Any help will be much appreciated....

I sent in a warranty request. Not sure if it's covered or not. It's mainly for some one else buying it in the future...
I love the bow and have no plans to sell it so the scope doesn't bother me at all but...I'm sixty and I don't know how long I'll be cocking the Lynx......
It's only visible on the lens when I move my head off the cheek piece but it would probably freak some people out..........

I'm sorry to say, but I think I have read more Negative Press concerning Tact Zone scopes than any other Excal model scope :P

IMO, I would like to see them replace this model being it is the the one they include with their higher priced packages with something you can actually have confidence in.
Shipping them back and the costs and inconvience involved for warranty should not have to be incured by those who expect to get above average performance from a higher priced package. :?

I really liked the TactZone on my 330, but the speed dial wouldn't go low enough for the 310... So I have the ShadowZone on my 310. A little bigger than the nicer fitting tactzone, but it works well. :)

That's odd, the speed ring adjusted just fine to match my Grizzly, and I'm shooting 420 grain arrows.

Don't knowed about odd but several of my crossbow scopes speeds are too fast fer my Pipsqueak. I had to put my Hawke 2x7 on it cause it goes down to 230 fps. Of course this has nutten to do wid the Topic,
