New Micro Brace Height

Post by grizzly72 »

Hi All,

I just got my dad a new Micro 335 with the Danny Miller Bumpers on it. My older model Micro has a line across the rail as a brace height reference, this one doesn't? I would Like to be able to measure back from the riser/rail joint and make a mark on the side as a reference point, but I can't find this distance anywhere. Any help is appreciated.. Thanks

Keep it 1/4" off the bumpers and it will be fine.

I contacted Excalibur about a week ago about the same thing. They said about 1/4" off the bumper is about right. Apparently, it is better to err on the side of too high than too low for the sake of limb longevity.
