Micro String change

Post by sirwill »

I just ordered a Flemish string for my new Micro... I have read, even with the stringing aid it can be a little fussy to swap... Any tips?

Each string maker can tell you what to expect and how to deal with it. Ask your string maker.

make the stringing aid as short as you can to allow it JUST go over the limb tips. I have to fight with mine to just get it on.

I sometimes snug it up a bit after I have the stringing aid on the limbs.

Changing your string and adjusting brace height is a lot easier if you are using a C2 crank with the stringing aid.
