....Peter, I too appreciate your response and didn't expect anything differently...what set me off was the posting on FB where you specifically call out TT resulting in the voiding of the warranty....a simple reiteration of your warranty policy would have sufficed....the impression I got was Excalibur was caught off guard when TT announced the recall and someone called and asked Dawn about it...resulting in the Excal response on FB....anuff said and time to move on!

I was not aware of the Facebook posting, must have happened last week when I was out of the office.

I was told by the TT rep when I called since my TTT does not have a serial number or date code it was NOT under the recall. It is an older version so not subject to recall...he verified with computer and other TT ppl. So hopefully he is right..either way good or bad trigger when cocked and loaded it stays pointed down range or away from meaty parts..Same as I always do xbow or gun. Muzzle control indifferent to possible weak equipment. Still got to break down my REM700 see if it is impacted by the TTT recall.

no serial number

Post by brianpa »

I don't have a serial number on my TT just a date code of BLE 024. I don't see that date code on the recall list. Am I missing something with the serial number

Recommend you call TT give them what info you have.

They have a list of the date codes/serial numbers affected on their web site which I posted on another thread.
If your date code or serial number is not listed then you are good to go ;)

Email reply from TT on my query about recall.

"Hi Dave,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We have doubled checked your serial number and confirmed that it is not under the recall. Thanks for your purchase.

Thanks,
Mark

My TT trigger installed in my Excalibur Equinox has a serial # of 5072-003 which I believe is outside of the recall range BUT I want to be sure and have you folks verify that fact. I don’t believe that I have to take any further action but want to be sure. Thanks for all of your time and consideration. This TT trigger was purchased directly from TT in 2015."

FYI after disassembly/reassembly of my CB to check the TT S/N the POI was exactly the same. These Excalibur CBs are a solid quality product.

I have the Ti64 Titanium kit and they recommended Anti seize and not loc-Tite.

Sorry if this has been already answered here. Been super busy and I just read about the trigger recall and have a question. I just removed my trigger Tech Trigger to find the (serial number?) and this is the number I have hand scribed on the bottom of the trigger.
0693-003 that's it...this does not look anything like the serial numbers on the suspect list provided in this thread. Any one have any thoughts on this ?
