I'm just clearing out a field(hadn't been cut in 6-8yrs) Looking for plot seed recommendations. Ranges I have are 0-400yrds so a bow and rifle plot. Its going to be my first one. Need seed that will be popping in bow season and something to carry me through rifle season. Figure do strips or squares that come in at different times. or just over seed with best crop. Recommendations welcome.
Still got some brush and bush hoggin to get done within the next week. Couldn't upload photos. (board attachment quota has been reached)

Here in AL I have a plot 160yds X 22yds approx 1/2 acre, plant a mix of wheat, oats, rape, winter peas, crimson clover. I plant last week Sept.,bow season comes in Oct. 15. I always put an exclusion cage in middle to judge how much they eat. It never gets over 6" high outside cage, 2 1/2 feet inside by Feb, 10 th end of season.

Hello --- I'd like to chat with Goose52 about food plots in WIsc.

I didn't see a Private message button - I did see the email but I guess I don't have the appropriate account.

I'm a newbie here--what's the proper protocol
