Bulldog 400 Arrows

Post by IronNoggin »

Hi Folks,

I am in the process of latching onto a 400 Bulldog for my Hunting Partner.
Question I have is what length of arrow does it prefer?
I run 18.25" in my Matrix 380 - will the 400 digest these as well as the 380 does?

Wondering...

If we run with the same arrows I use for the 380, they are actually 18.5 inches long (cut to 18.25, then add in the Luminok).

I think he will likely be using the same broadheads as I do, that being 125 grain Spitfires. Had a lot of success with those, and can see definite advantages to my Partner running the exact same set-up as I do...

You may want to check out Black Eagles website. They are running a special on 18" BEE's with 92 brass inserts and pink wraps with 2" Blazer Vanes and both 1/2 moon and flat white plasitc nocks at what works out to be right at $45.00 - $46.00 per dozen, plus ( I think I paid ) $ 6.00 for shipping.

I consider the quality of these as top notch and plan on getting another dozen at this price while still available.

Your current arrows will be exactly what the Bulldog wants to throw!!
My 380 Bulldog is throwing almost the exact same. Perfect combo.
