I love mine . Leaves my hands free for glassing or using walking sticks . Only draw back has limited cargo space .

I have one and as much as I try to like it, I can't .
Can't seem to get the bow to sit properly and it flops around and no way I can take it off with out removing the pack. And like said it has limited space for gear.

But this is only my opinion of it.

X2....spot on with what Roly said...wanted to love it... but ended up hating it... bow flops around and is NOT properly secured and limited space.... a waste of money in my book!

That's strange , Mine holds nice and tight and I can reach around unclip the top strap then grab the stirup to get the bow all with one hand. If you don't have a top mount quiver you will have to remove it . I clip the top strap under the limbs , I've seen people clip it across the stirup but I don't like it that way. My bow main bow is a Matrix . If I use my Axiom I have to readjust things a little. It also holds a rifle pretty good too.

I’ve been looking for one of these packs for some time. If anyone who is unhappy with theirs would like to part ways with it send me a PM.

Thanks!

I don't have an Excal ex-pac but I do use my Crooked Horn non-typical pack, designed for a compound, for my xbow. It has 4 straps that hold it in place and two pouches for gear. My first Crooked Horn non-typical pack was purchased over 20 years ago. The only wear is the inside liner is falling a part; other than that the zippers still work like new.
