Post image questions

Can some one please go over the steps for post image ...l did my avatar ok. But dont know what to pick as image size and so on .......l know about deleting the code as in photobucket but an having throubles with image size ...to many choices.lm talking about a normal post in our forum

I think i got it ...l chose hot link for forums and it worked

I use the direct link and add the tags.

I can't get post image to load my avatar to site. I resized photo to avatar size but can't get it to load. can someone give this computer illiterate old man step by step directions?

I think I remember what I did. Go into User Control Panel and go to where you download an avatar picture. Choose the pic you want from Postimage and use the Direct link and post it into the link box. Look below and there is a size box. I typed in 200 X 200 I think and entered it and it worked.

Try this, can put here but can't get it to go to my avatar. I did resize to 180x 180.

Take a look at my avatar now cause it will not stay long.

I grabbed the Direct Link off postimage and pasted it into the Link Off-Site slot. Put in 200 X 200 on avatar dimensions and hit enter.
