HHA optimizer scope mount?
What do you guys think about it have killed deer out to 50 yards with my grizzly and dead zone scope like to push out to 80 yards on a calm day and the right conditions.good bad and the ugly!

I myself love it for target as well as hunting. If an animal is 46 yards and calm I can dial it to 46 and know exactly where I will hit instead of "gapping" the scope reticle. Worst con is forgetting to resetting the dial to zero and then using a different reticle on your scope. It is extremely well made with close tolerances and now they come with yardage tapes out to 100yds.

Even though I can hit the heart on my deer target with every shot out to 60 yards with my 330,(the farthest I have ever shot) I would never consider shooting a deer beyond 50 yards. Arrows are not as fast as bullets and a half a step before your arrow arrives would leave a badly wounded deer that would probably never be recovered.

I would listen to some of the experienced Excal owners and hunters on here about not shooting at deer over 50 yards. Of course your crossbow is accurate beyond 50 yards but deer can get completely duck an arrow at 30 yards. I wouldn't risk wounding an animal by shooting at them at longer distances, we do owe it to ourselves to always try and make ethical shots on the game we're after.

Just want to have the ability to accurately range and shoot deer beyond 50yards Have had deer at 58yards facing away in low wind conditions, and had to pass on shots not knowing the hold over!

Yes. Get the Optimizer. It will do what our want. A deer at 60 yards, feeding, with head turned down and away is very unlikely to move. However, deer farther away, such as 40-50 yds+ tend to freeze at the sound of the xbow, trying to determine where the noise came from.
