Peter said 2" from end of riser is the fastest. Using various strings, multiple arrows of varying weight and brace heights <,> and = to 2". Excacly 2" is the fastest for my BD400.

I have gotten 385fps as top speed with 350gr with factory string and brace height was not optimized but have not tried it with custom string and brace height @ 2".

The BD 400 is basically a 380 according to various reports and I suspect the BD380 is actually closer to a 360fps model. They relaxed the riser angle too much for my liking on the Matrix bullpup platforms. It is what is...

....and my 380 chrony'd at 335 with a 415g arra at Boofest....I sure wish Excal would use what most people shoot for their advertisements....I really do not know anyone who shoots a 350 g arra....so I guess my 380 is really a 335 then :?

Anthony, I wasn't aware of that. I couldn't understand why we ran out of room on the Optimizer to get you to 100yards. From the numbers you've given it seems to me you have a M355, not a M380....415 - 350 = 65gr = approximately 22fps speed loss. That puts you right in the M355 marks. You should measure your mainframe length and see if something is up.

I wouldn't put much stock in the readings you got at Boofest. Outdoor lighting conditions are never best. Before I'd get all  I'd chrony it indoors with a proper lighting kit.
