I found the coolest thing ever at a tractor supply store today

compressed 3 banded grass bale--- this looks to be perfect target

i'll be getting one and post results

best plus its grass so if its shot out easy to get rid of ! or in my case just take and leave it for elk to eat

A little late on this one...but I bought a McKensie Crossbow Speed Bag from Dicks and it works really well. Bolts only penetrate a few inches and 2 finger removal. Around $40
