Broadhead targets

Post by Zerodur »

I'm shooting a 350 and am looking for a good broadhead target, something that will stop my bolt cutters but won't cause me to dislocated my shoulder trying to remove them, the target will be used to sight in my broadheads and 3or 4 shots before I go hunting, that's it. All the other shooting will be with field points into a big shot 450 which is an excellent target

Any of the Rhinehart Targets are excellent. The 18 in 1 is probably the best bang for your buck but I actually prefer the rhinoblock for the extra size. They're the exact same material but they're shaped differently with the rhinoblock having a little more surface area.

18-1, although that BEE has a field point. Remember to pull the arrow straight out when using a BH.

If you remove the logo off your arrows with acetone, you'll have a much easier time removing them. With that said I'm a 18/1 fan myself.

Can I get an Amen? The painted logos will "Weld" themselves to a broadhead target. You will be very happy that you did this. Also a tiny bit of arrow lube such as scorpion venom will make them come out easier too.

If you Google Horizontal Archery in Sardis, Ohio you should get Danny's number....even though he doesn't have a website. His plier pullers are a MUST have in my opinion. I keep a pair in my shop, another with my gear, another in my truck....and a spare just in case. You'll love them for making arrow pulling a breeze.

I'm planning on doing this with my Zombie Slayers. Do the graphics come off easily with acetone and a rag, or do you need an adhesive pad to scrub the graphics off?
