350se brace HT.

Post by alanr »

So is 1 inch from the riser joint a good place to set the brace HT. on a 350SE? I did not get a manual with my bow. thank you - alanr

I think the recommended brace height is 3/4" from the end of the riser.

Download a manual here: http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/support/

On the back of the factory replacement string package:
When installing a string, It's important that its set to the correct brace height. For all Matrix Compact Recurve Technology crossbows, the string's brace height should be set at 3/4" back from the joint where the riser meets the rail. It's acceptable for the brace height to vary 1/8" forward or backwards from the 3/4" setting.

They really don't have much as far as a manual specific to the 350se - I also have an Ibex & the brace ht. between the two is quite a bit different. alanr

I keep mine at around 3/4" or 1/4" off the bumpers.

I always set to 1" from rail riser seam to string on all my Matrix models, if they drop below 3/4" I reset, my poi and speed stay consistent anywhere in between that measurement, and in thousands of shots in 330's to 405's, I have never broke a limb or limb tip,,, good luck.

Yep..that is the perfect place to be for the Matrix brace height..... as the sting stretches you can keep twisting your string "COUNTER clockwise" to maintain a brace height between 7/8"-1" inch from riser/barrel seam to the front of your string.

When I got my 350 LE (I think same bow different package) My brace height was 1 1/4 So I called cs because there is no manual on these bows and was told that what I had was right so that's what I'm going with
