Does the Ramcats fly good out of your 335? I too have a 335 and was thinking of going back to fixed heads.

Yessir! That is what I shoot now too, and what I killed that deer and the bison with.

The accuracy I settle for is about a 1" to 1 1/2" group at 40yards for all arrows. Usually I just need to try a different vane in the rail to achieve this with my arrows. Shots on game limited to about 35yds.

My arrow recipe is:
  • 16" Black Eagle Arrows Zombie Slayer
    110gr brass insert
2" Truflight feathers put on with lots of helical (Blazers are fine too)
    NuFletch Igniter Nocks
    125gr RAMCAT
Total weight about 415gr

Thanks for the reply. Right now I shoot 18.5" BEE (cut down from 22) but really considering getting a dozen Spynal Tap or Zombie arrows in the 16 to 16.5" range.

I like to keep my arrow inside the stirrup so I can rest the bow on the ground. I hunt mostly from the ground. I feel the 16" arrows hit hard because they pretty much do not really flex much.
