Pete rickards lures

Post by longbow joe »

I have a "lifetime" supply of pete rickards real ceder scent in my garage ....great cover up scent. I now use mainly my vanilla now and doe pee. But l used to use his "indian " buck lure l had some positive results using it especially does and bucks in Early season . Do they even still make it?. Did any of you ever use it ?. Only one time l had it spook an already spooked buck but it usually made em come in to sniff the stuff and give you a shot opportunity.

It's been a while since I used it, decent results too. I don't know if they are still available though.

pretty sure cedar oil is a great insect repellent - chiggers - ticks- mosquitos etc.
not sure if real cedar scent would be the same exact thing but hey anything natural that keeps the stinking bugs away and has a chance to attract deer or at the very least doesn't spook everyone of them . gets 2 thumbs up in my book
