AND IT BEGINS...boar hunt*STORY UPDATE PG.3

Post by paulaboutform »

I just boarded the plane and on my way to my last Russian Boar hunt at my friend's place in Alberta. It's the last because the Alberta government is pressing him to make changes to his property that would cost tens of thousands of dollars to continue...even though he's never had an issue in over twenty years. I didn't know if I'd evenbe able to go until yesterday due to work commitments. Sadly, I won't be joined by Normous this year. I'm hoping to get a monster like the one I got three years ago (330lbs). The last two years have been pretty slow with only little hogs showing up. I'll be shooting my Frankenbow with standard tricks and grizztricks 100gr, 22", Luminoks and fletched with Firenocks Aerovane 2 vanes. I'm pushing that 440gr arrow over 390fps. In the words of Ironoggin, I'll catch y'all on the flipside with some updates. Wish me luck....this'll be my whole season. :D

Paul

Rather sad to hear this will be your last run over there.
I was hoping to join you for that fun sometime down the road...

Nonetheless, have a Safe, Exciting & Fun Hunt my Friend!
I too am really hoping you tag one of those Big Bad Boys!!

Looking forward to hearing the tales, and seeing the pix upon your return...

Cheers,

PS: There will be a brown envelope waiting at home for you upon your return...
