After seeing what a 1 ounce bottle of Doe pee costs I will just buy beer and collect my own.

I just checked a scrape I started in Sept. and hung a camera over. Several small bucks are working it but no shooters so far. There are now three scrapes in camera range instead of the one I started but it is the largest of the three.

I was introduced to Yuengling this past year. Very good beer. For water beer, but still very good beer.

No really tho, hot as all get out in Florida for vacation, Yuengling is my go too after the bootleg runs out.

I make mine once the velvet is off....about the 1st of Sept. I move all my cams from mineral sites to mock scrapes. You have to stop baiting(minerals) 1 month prior to archery opener. Plus, the bucks show no desire for minerals anyways. Mocks are the only way I still see the big boys...

Lets talk my situation..PUBLICLAND..When rut starts and trees rubbed hunter hit woods..
Guess where they go to spot with 6 rubs and bunch of scrapes.

So you put up your dripper and they steal it ..

Life is fun on publicland....

I like to put dripper near cluster of rubs BUT you may attract more than buck LOTS of hunters ..

October issue of Deer and Deer hunting. Peak rut dates. I will start checking for scrapes starting October 31. Because Nov. 4 is the full moon that's when the magic starts. When days get short when you come home from work and it's Dark. The less light that enters the Does eyes that's what gets her in estrus. So when I see a scrape (Big) and look at the hoof. I know. I will use Smokeys Deer lures from West Virginia. He has an eye gland that we put drops on the over hanging branches. Then I'll squirt some doe in heat . He will be there the next morning. Waiting. Be high in the sky. Killed 4 Big bucks that way. It's amazing the ground those bucks will travel. And they do. Everyday after that full moon.

Well I told you guys Nov. 4 Full moon / Nov.8 killed my Buck. Nov. 6 Made a Mock scrape on the Ground I used Bob Kirshners Silver Top (doe in heat) on the licking branch Smokey’s Pre Orbital eye gland. This is what seals the deal! Now this was a mock scrape. I usually wait until the Dominant Buck comes in my area. And makes a scrape. You know when he does. The hoofs are Big. But this year I did a mock. Because the midge fly killed a lot of the older Deer. More than the younger. So I thought it would work it did. It’s my (6) buck doing this . Deer and Deer Hunting have it perfect! But the weather can’t be warm. Then your screwed. Last year was a Supermoon. Totally ruined ( stopped) the rut. To much light entered the Does eyes! The rut triggers when the least amount of light entering the Does eyes. Like when you get home from work at 5:00 and it’s getting dark already.
That’s when you know the MAGIC is happening. The buck came into the scrape right after daylight. He was waiting for her!
But I was there waiting for him. Go to Smokey’s web sight. He has pictures of one of my bucks that I killed doing this set-up.
Steve from Gibsonia. Friend of mine taught me this. The moon is the Guide. But every rut different. Every year different .
But some years keep mimicking Intense ruts every 5-6 years. Deer and Deer hunting. Have a good record over the past 20 yrs.
