I start as soon as I see any activity from bucks, rubbing and scrapes. This usually occurs around third week of October round here.

I would start soon . I have 4 scent drippers at 4 stands l like the wildlfe research scrape dripper scents ....they all seem. To work . Set the dripper up on a branch hidden from theives and start your mock scrape underneath soon thell be hammerin it. . Once in a while squirt some doe p on it preferably from a different bottle even some rutting buck.....your trying to make itook like every deer n its brother is dropping by thats the theory.try to find one with the important low licking rub branch or simply wire tie one from above!
Scrape - scent- licking branch =deer magnet

I went out this afternoon and put out a Tink's dripper on my buddy's place. While there I saw that they are now hitting the corn I put out there. Going to give it a try in the morning.

I don't know but I doubt it. I'd put some out and do some experimenting to see what works in your area.

I simply scrape out a spot using the edge of my boots and then pee in it. Works pretty good for me.

I had read a article last year about just that, apparently they tried all types of scents and human pee after a night of drinking beer brought out the most curiosity.
