Monster Down
Finally got out last night Got into blind and about 15 minutes and i here noise behind me,crack zipper about a inch and spot a nice rack rubbing a tree.He stayed behind me and made his way out to the orchard in view of the Jamaician workers who were about 350 yards to my left.Half hour later out pops a yote and gets to about 70yards and he knows somethings up and off he takes.Just before 6 i spot ears on the far side of field about 100 yards. Well they just keep comeing,8 does and fawns are standing around looking towards me.Two jump into the bush and i trying to think whats up as the rest are still looking towards my right in the corner! Well all of a sudden i see a antler.Saftey comes off as he puts his head down and looks to be eating and i swing a little to my right and try to find him in the scope as he is no more the 6 yards from me Find him in scope put cross hairs behind shoulder and drop it down a couple of inches and let the arrow free.He bolts across field and stands there then staggers into the bush! Thats the first good look at him and it looked like a cow heading across the field Called Kathy and told her i needed a hand and just shot a monster!
Then sent Newbie a text and told him i shot a Monster Kathy got there and we found him just inside the bush.I turned him around to drag him to the field to gut him but no go Kath went and got truck and put a rope on him to drag out into field. After the gutting the fun started,we couldn,t get him in the truck Told Kath i,ll be back and went to get the skidsteer and had to sling him in to the back of the truck!!Dropped him at the butchers this morning and they have a scale,The guy looks at me and says thats the biggest deer thats been in here,i say what is it! 200 lbsNo head or hide Im still in shock[url=https://postimg.org/image/m4gzh0hkp/][url=https://postimg.org/image/h4jj9krix/][url=https://postimg.org/image/41nwpuyll/]

Congratulations!
Very reminiscent of the huge bodied whitetails that live in Saskatchewan & Alberta.
Lots of great vittles right there!
Cheers,
