350se gets it done

Post by Prmtvbowman22 »

Went out sunday am and heard wings flapping about 7:30, turned out to be goose hunters. Geese flew between me and them and they opened up. As geese fell, I heard pellets falling around me. Just as I was about to get down before I got shot I saw an 8pt buck coming my way. He came into the woods and I double lunged him at 10 yards. He made it about 60yards. Boltcutter and diablo made quick clean kill.

Sounds like an "interesting" experience, congrats. on getting your deer.
You might consider buying a flack jacket if you continue to hunt out of that stand!
