sproulman------I still have a hard time on driving bear in the archery season. Mean the watchers need to be at just the right place to get a shot with in 30 yds. of a moving bear? I know guys in our camp up their can't hit them standing still in gun season, and then still can't hit them running, and that with a gun.

WOW, that's amazing! I knew that that many deer could be shot by gangs, but never thought that was even possible with bear.

Yikes! I can’t even imagine “driving” bears...especially in huge groups like that.
Sounds like another world out there in PA...

It is hard to believe isnt it but all true..Some of sidehills you have to hold onto tree with your left hand while holding onto bow with right hand....I do not think there is gang in usa that is as good as these 25 hunters on bear.10 of them work for DCNR ....

This year they did terrible they saw bear but weather was so bad they had hard time..1 driver saw 9 different bears and when he shot his a bigger one stood up ...I think 260 bears were killed last year just in our county 1 week [clinton]we came in second place [lycoming] was first ..
