Matrix 380 vs Matrix Bulldog 400

Post by NonTypicalCPA »

I currently own the 380. Thinking about picking up a Matrix Bulldog 400. Is there much difference in performance? Size? How about difficulty of cocking?

I can't find the specs anymore on the excal sight, like length and weight. Is that now gone?

I have both. Cocking is about the same. The BD400 is about 5'/sec faster. I'm slowly getting to prefer the BD over the 380. I would NOT get rid of a 380 for a BD400 if much money difference was involved. I think the 400 will be able to get an integral cocker.

The M380 is slightly longer. Weight is almost the same. I have 2 M405s: set up totally differently. They are my favorites. I got the second one used but better than new and at much less cost than either the M380 or BD400 new. Hint: look at the trading post.
