Nice buck walks

Post by Prmtvbowman22 »

Last Friday I hunted my friends farm and saw a coyote, spike buck and doe all too far to shoot. A half-hour before dark a doe stepped out 10 yards to my left and walked out to 20 yards and stopped then a 2nd and a 3rd did the same. Heard more footsteps and a nice 10pt steps out and joined them. With safety off and cross hairs on his chest I realized I didn't want my buck hunting to end with one already in the freezer so I watched him walk away.

With 51 years of deer hunting I enjoy watching deer up close as much as shooting them. I'm still learning their behavior and still have 2 months to take him if nothing better appears.
