O/t Christmas gifts for the wife

Post by longbow joe »

This Christmas gift thing is still puzzling after 30 years . Why is it that a wife can get a man a tool new work boots or even a work item and we love it. But yet if we were to buy them a vacuume or a household item there offended. This thought just came to mind my wife enjoys baking and l purchased the expensive kitchenaid upright mixer she has always wanted. .........but ohhh yes its a ktichen houshold item ...but its a gift for her "hobby" so this is now crossing the line of now its ok ....wow how complicated. Anyway l made sure l got some jewelry items and some backups anyway. I remember last year l got a new 12volt jump box and loved it.(house hold item) I know l will get a cabellas gift card rather than a bass pro simply because the cabellas is next to the "better" mall that she likes wich is also good because l can drop her off at the better mall and be ridda her. For three hours .lolol.

Jewelry is always a good idea. Perfume, and such also. I stay for away from anything that has a chore if any kind associated with it. 8)

No gifts for either of us this year. All to the kids instead.

Decided by the wife who got a new cordless dyson three weeks ago. (But i do like the idea)

Wife has been wanting new cookware for a while now. Found a deal on Black Friday. I will let you know how it plays out. If it plays like I think, any of y'all have a great big dog house?😳

If it is something Mom really wants, you might just be OK. Good luck!

All please enjoy the Gift Giving, Parties, and Get Together's. But more importantly, don't forget to include Christ in Christmas. Happy Holidays!

Well my wife shows quarter horses and she spends a lot of time in the barn, iv'e given her things like ,boots, horse vacume,
leather gloves, and last year I got her a new 2 wheeled wheelbarrow, and she was the happiest woman in the world :D
but as she gets older she is slowing down so I have to get a little more creative, I think i'm in trouble
maybe a gift card at the ladies fitness center  No better not do that, she might think I think she's getting fat :P
I think i'm in trouble this year :(

Honestly, why do we do it and how did we ever give all our power away? Imagine a life of hunting, fishing, shooting, scouting, laying around watching something you love on tv, hanging out with your buddies....hmmmm, sounds terrible. Better to avoid all those things and cowtow to a wife that will help with avoiding them!
