are the limbs on the 335 and 355 the same?
Re: what gen micro?
Kinda. Your gen 1 riser with an extra 1/2" (gen2 rail)will push 360 or more due to the angle of the riser.bobcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 3:30 pmso if i shim my riser on my 335 a 1/2 i have a 355?janesy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2017 10:56 pm355, is either black or camo in the case of the suppressor.Tlyle wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2017 10:30 pmAll this Micro info is helpful. Thank you.
One additional question. I have a new Micro 355. However, when you look at the bow, the only identity is Excalibur on one side, and Micro on the other. How do you identify the difference between the Micro models, 335, 355, etc...?
As Bill stated, the length varies by 1/2" for each model. The 315 is a full 1" less, and thw 335 gen2 is 1/2" less than the 355.
335 gen1, has the same length rail as the 315(a gen2)
Altho, it also important to mention that outside of the internet crossbow world the "gen" identification doesnt exist. Its simply old sryle and new style from excal.

Yes, only difference are the colour options, all micros have the same limbs

Re: what gen micro?
one more thing...... the gen ones are the ones with the limb issues, or more limb issues and the gen two risers were made to lessen the limb issues? But the gen two are slower? if they are slower how are they still a 335?
sorry if im a slow learner.

Re: what gen micro?
The Limbs are the operatuonal part of the bow, so if something is going to give, it has to be the limbs.
Whether excal changed the riser abgle to reduce stress, OR adapted a design that allowed for better growth and sales across the micro platform is their secret to keep.
The gen2 335 isnt slower, its just that those who have tested them find the gen1 was faster than its advertised numbers. But 99.9% of excal owner have no idea how fast they are shooting, and most probably dont even know you can check . but at the end of the day 10 up or down, doesnt matter. Truth be told, the number associated with the given model, is a name, and thats it .
