Probably an early question but are these available without the sound deadening add on's? Not trying to be wise here, just that I'm not a fan of too much of that stuff these days, my hearing is not what it once was. I don't think that it makes that much difference hunting, and I'm more about the less weight really. Just wondering if any testing along those lines has been done? I'm mostly interested in losing the air brakes to be specific.

X2 on that l would like a bare bones bow with just the crank and string stops a 9 pound bow is quite heavy to hall around when you are used to 6 pound bows.

They will sell a ton. At first the sticker shock is a smack in the face. But I was discussing the new models with a family member who is getting tired of drawing it 380. And after he considered the cranks and all the option its doesn't seem so bad. Considering its an easy way to keep people shooting as they age and tire of working hard to play.. Kind of a no brainer really

4 lbs. is a big deal too when hiking in & out long distances. There seems to me to be some stuff I could do without on the Assassin, but probably won't add up to 4 lbs.
